From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
"The .416 Weatherby Magnum, introduced in 1989, is a very powerful rifle cartridge. It is able to push a 400 grain (26 g) bullet to 2700 ft/s (820 m/s). The cartridge also fires that same 400 grain bullet 300 ft/s faster than both the .416 Remington Magnum, and .416 Rigby. Because the recoil of this caliber is quite heavy, it is best used by experienced shooters."
